Harold Moore was born to parents George and Ellen Moore on
the 16/06/1959. He grew up in the beautiful village of Ballintra, County

At a very early age he developed intense and highly-focused
interests in financial matters and would later channel those interests into
studying finance.
He attended De La Salle secondary school in Ballyshannon from
1969 to 1975 before going on to Sligo Institute of Technology from 1975 -1979 where
he graduated as a Certified Accountant.
During that period he achieved several
Ulster School medals in Gaelic football. He also won medals in the Donegal

After his graduation, Harold, spent the next number of years
practicing with chosen accountancy firms to make him more self-assured in all
financial situations and solutions. In 2000, he returned to his studies, this
time to Dublin University where he received a QFA (Qualified Financial Advise

With a solid financial background at hand, Harold felt
confident to embark upon other business challenges outside finance. So in 1988
he purchased a 40 bedroom Hotel in the beautiful touristy village of GlencolmcilleCo Donegal. Creating employment for 50+ people was something that was dear to
Harold's heart, because as a young fellow growing up in a small town, he knew
the value of a local job. While Harold was running a busy hotel he also ran a
very successful retail drapery chain, again creating more jobs at local level.
Of course, like any good business, running a medium sized
hotel and a chain of drapery shops would have its challenges and foremost would
require skilled accountancy attributes which he could bring to the table, and
did. After a period of 7 years and a modicum of success, he sold the hotel for
a decent profit and for the next two years, once again, focused on his
professional career as a certified accountant.
After two years, and with his entrepreneurial spirits
running high, Harold decided to present himself with yet, another challenge and
set up a high-end furniture factory which he run for 2 years very successfully.
This was a very interesting venture as it involved bringing furniture from Romania
to Ireland. This venture also involved the employment of over 40 people and
considering the import variations in tax laws it required special financial
skills.
Not surprisingly, Harold's love for financial services seen
him return to same where he would remain until 2008. During that period from
2003 to 2005 Harold's financial capabilities led him to secure a position which
would involve selling investment properties in Poland within the UK & Irish
marketplace. This was a further introduction to world markets and associated
tax laws.
Moving forward and with a mountain of articulate business
ethics and acumen, Harold next project would lead him to setting up and
developing an International language college which he ran from 2008 until 2011.
During that time, he also developed Donegal Bay Fishing company which again
provided employment for 20+ local people.
